Atlantic Canada Region, Halifax

Thank you to Chuck Wurster (pictured here with wife Cheryl and daughter Emma) for raising in excess of $35,000 in support of the LLSC

Chuck joined the Atlantic Canada Region of Team In Training in November 2011,  to raise funds in honour of his wife Cheryl, who died as a result of complications related to blood cancer.  Chuck has already raised over $51,000 in the fight against blood cancers!  This gives him the title of most funds ever raised by a Canadian TNT participant!  But he is just getting started.  Chuck has now formed "Team Wurster" with a goal for his team to raise $50,000 each season!  Chuck will be participating in the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February, the Rock 'n' Roll Madrid Marathon in April, and the Blue Nose Half Marathon in May.  To learn more about Cheryl Wurster and/or to support or join Chuck's team, please visit the Team Wurster webpage.  Congratulations Chuck and thank you for all your hard work!
