Albert Tom, Vancouver Run/Walk Coach I have been looking forward to joining the Team In Training coaching team for a few years now. I have been leading and coaching half and full marathoners since 2006, and have completed many marathons and half marathons, including the Disney Goofy Challenge (a half marathon one day, then a full marathon the following day). Spring 2012 marks my first official duties as TNT coach and I look forward to working with each participant to help them achieve their goals and cross that finish line! |

Angela James, Vancouver Run Coach I became involved with Team In Training® in May 2003 as a participant. The rest is history! I enjoyed being a member of the team so much in fact that I immediately signed up to coach for the next season, and have now coached numerous seasons. I will work hard to help you meet your training goals and I will be a very enthusiastic supporter. Together we will continue to make strides in the ultimate race by raising funds for the cause.

Bill Kipper, Vancouver Cycle Coach I have been an endurance cyclist for nearly 30 years and have been in the saddle for 50 Century rides. In 2008, I answered the call to join TNT and raise money to fight blood cancers while training for a century ride. The entire experience was so positive that I happily accepted the invitation to become a TNT coach. You can expect a committed, knowledgeable, and compassionate coach who will do everything in his power to ensure your training is thorough and that you and your bike are fully prepared for the rigors of a 100 mile ride.

Danika Adamthwaite, Vancouver Walk Coach I first became involved with TNT in 2007, as a TNT participant for the Vancouver Marathon. After running the half marathon, I decided to continue working with the Society and returned as a mentor for the next season. I travelled with the team to Maui, and also participated as a walker for the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco when I was pregnant with my second daughter. Working with Team In Training has been so amazing. Now, as a certified TNT walk coach, I am so happy to be even more involved!

My passion lies in the sport, and I have competed in events ranging from Sprint to Ironman distance. I am thrilled to be involved as a triathlon coach with Team In Training. Kristina Bangma, Triathlon Coach I started racing triathlon 2 years ago and since then have raced in several sprints, many Olympic Distances including the World Cup and two Half Iron Mans. My next personal challenge is to race the 2009 Canadian IronMan. Training and racing for Triathlon has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Throughout my life I have raced in several different sports but never found the team support and friendships that training for a triathlon creates.

Michael Gotziaman, Vancouver Run Coach I am an endurance runner and have been running marathons for the past eight years. I have completed six marathons, including Honolulu and San Francisco for Team In Training. I originally joined TNT to support by best friend and leukemia survivor and, of course, to run a marathon in beautiful Hawaii. Very soon, I found myself enjoying the company of my fellow teammates, and those associated, so much, I ended up becoming a mentor the following season and then a coach the next. I received my TNT Run Certification in 2009.

Rhonda Bourne, Fraser Valley Run Coach I joined TNT in May 2007. I have completed several half marathons, 8 full marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2005. The Vancouver Marathon was my qualifier for Boston and one of the most beautiful marathons I have ever run. I've been very impressed by the TNT organization and decided to devote my time to the cause and continue my involvement as one of your Run Coaches here in the Fraser Valley. |

Sherry Reierson, Fraser Valley Run and TNT Flex Coach I started running in 2004 and joined Team In Training as a participant to complete the Nike Women's Marathon in 2006. I joined in honour of my aunt, then returned in 2008 to run the Nike Women's Marathon once again, but this time in her memeory. I was so greatly moved by my TNT expereince and the passion and dedication of the staff and participants, that I decided to dedicate much of my time for TNT. Since then, I have been involved for the past 6 seasons as a participant, mentor, and coach. This is my third season as coach and I look forward to working with the Flex Team. |

Nathan Stafford, Vancouver Run and Walk Coach I grew up in chilly old St. John, NB, but after travelling to Vancouver one summer, fell in love with the city and decided to call it home. One winter, my love of distance running was born. Without any snow to shovel, I had to find something else to do. I've trained for a variety of distances, but my strength is in marathon and half marathon distances. I recently made my dream come true by completing the 2011 Boston Marathon and won my first ever duathlon. I started coaching for TNT soon afterwards. I am looking foward to coaching TNT again this season. |
