Canada's Virtual Team In Training (VTNT) is designed to bring all of the benefits of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's Team In Training� (TNT) to people who do not live near an active TNT training location. Currently, there are training sites in Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon , Montreal and Toronto. If you don't live near any of those locations, join us and train through VTNT.

BOM Vancouver Marathon - May 2, 2010 - half marathon; walk and run

Ottawa Marathon - Ottawa, ON - May 30, 2010 - full and half marathon, walk and run

Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Marathon & 1/2 to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - San Diego, CA - June 6, 2010 - full and half marathon, walk and run

Mayor's Marathon and Half Marathon, presented by ConocoPhillips - Anchorage, AK - June 19, 2010 - full and half marathon, walk and run

VTNT participants receive all of the benefits of TNT participants and more, including:

Training to run or walk a marathon or half marathon, provided by guidance from experienced coaches and experts through email, conference calls, plus training plans and manual
Fundraising ideas, strategies and materials, including sample letters and donor forms to assist you in reaching the fundraising goal
Your very own online fundraising page to help tell others about your participation in TNT and raise funds online from friends, family and co-workers
Transportation to, and accommodations at, the featured event along with race entry and exclusive TNT weekend activities
Guaranteed race entry, even if the event is sold out to the general public

In return, VTNT participants commit to raising funds to support LLSC's mission of finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to complete a personal goal and, at the same time, to help stop leukemia and other blood cancers from taking more lives.
